Store Launch Guides requires no account and collects no personal data beyond what is strictly necessary to run the site. Processing is governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which applies to us as an operator established in Spain, together with applicable US state privacy laws.
Data we collect
Two categories, and only two:
- Aggregate usage data. We measure visits with a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool (see below). It does not identify you and we do not build user profiles.
- Newsletter email address. If you subscribe to the newsletter — and only then — we store the email address you give us, the site you subscribed on, and the date and consent record of your subscription.
We collect nothing else. There are no accounts, no comment forms and no advertising trackers.
Why we process it
Aggregate analytics help us understand which guides are useful so we can improve them. The newsletter address is used exclusively to send you the newsletter you asked for. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Legal basis
Analytics rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the site, and are engineered to avoid personal data in the first place. The newsletter relies on your explicit consent, given through a checkbox at the moment of subscription; you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or writing to us, and withdrawal deletes your address from the list.
Analytics
We use Rybbit, a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics tool. It records aggregate metrics (pages viewed, referrers, browser and device type) without collecting personally identifiable information, without cross-site tracking, and without cookies. Because it sets no cookies and identifies no one, it does not require a consent banner.
Newsletter storage
Newsletter subscriptions are stored in a private Google Sheet operated by the controller, transmitted server-to-server over an encrypted connection. Google LLC acts as a storage provider under its own terms; no other party has access. Every stored row includes the consent timestamp. To unsubscribe or have your address deleted, use the unsubscribe option in any email or write to the address above.
Third parties
Our infrastructure providers (hosting and the Cloudflare content delivery network) process requests technically in order to deliver the site. Outbound links to Shopify are affiliate links: if you follow one, Shopify may set its own cookies and applies its own privacy policy once you leave our site — we receive aggregate referral statistics from that program, never your identity. We do not sell your data.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of any personal data we hold about you, and you may object to or restrict processing. Write to pablobravo44@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can complain to the Spanish supervisory authority (AEPD) or to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, secrets are stored server-side, and the newsletter store is private and access-controlled. We collect so little precisely so that there is little to protect.
