Store Launch Guides is an independent editorial project publishing practical Shopify tutorials for merchants in the United States. It exists for the person who has decided to sell online and keeps hearing that Shopify is the shortest path there — but cannot yet tell the plan price apart from the real monthly cost of keeping a store open.
The site’s working rule is simple: the plan price is the small line on the invoice. What decides whether a store pays for itself is the sum of plan, card processing, app subscriptions, theme and shipping — so our guides write that sum out in dollars, with the date each figure was read on shopify.com.
Platform facts cite Shopify’s own documentation and pricing pages, never memory. Sales tax is explained as orientation and attributed to the state revenue department in question — we are not accountants and never present tax notes as professional advice. There are no income promises here, and no “we tested it for three months” stories that did not happen.
The site is funded by Shopify affiliate links: if you open a store through one, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That relationship is disclosed on every monetized page and never changes what a guide says.
